Valentine’s Day card to a non-existent Valentine

thejuanreyes:

Re-watching series 5 of Doctor Who,

Something occurred to me, and I thought of you.

I may not have good looks, or near-infinite smarts,

But if I was a Time Lord you’d have both of my hearts.

This poem was written 365 dateless days ago, so I’m just gonna sit here and cry into my stuffed Dalek that I don’t have.

Sherlock Holmes and the Case Of the Accidental Felon
This is my first—and possibly my last—work of fan art.I created it in light of pending legislation that would obliterate virtually everything of interest on the internet. It’s called ACTA, and if you’ll run a search on that tag you’ll be properly appalled.Anyway…I invited the actors to pose, but they declined—or rather, they ignored my calls. Apparently I am not as famous in England as I am in America. No problem: I borrowed a photo and used it as my reference. I make no claim to the ownership of this photo. Even so, this action would lead to five years’ imprisonment under ACTA.Like most creative people, I am a firm believer in the rights of artists, photographers, musicians, writers, film makers and anyone who produces original creative work. If I offered this picture for sale at my commercial gallery, I’d be a parasite and a thief. Even worse, I’d be unprofessional. I know where the ethical line is drawn, and I think most people instinctively do. But soon our kindly government may draw the line for us, and they will draw it where they please.I haven’t even signed this piece because it’s only partially mine. If you want to pretend that you painted it yourself, do so with my blessing.Frankly, I’d rather you went to jail instead of me.

Oh god I’ve always wanted to see you do fan art and this is ridiculous.

Why didn’t I do anything with this? :( I feel like eventually it would have made a shirt people would wear because they love it when you put two things together on the internet.

GALLIFREY’S FOURTH MOST POPLAR FOLK PARODY DUO

Recently, I rediscovered the words “Flight of the Time Lords” scratched into a notebook of mine, which lead me to remember a very punderful conversation with my best friend. This string of words is his doing, but the doodle is all me. I hope to clean it up ASAP, but I really just needed to get it out of my system.

Amelia Pond: a work in progress.

I’m not crazy about it yet, and I’m definitely not finished, but I like it a lot more today than I did yesterday. I made the stunning realization that it looks a lot more like Karen Gillan if you put it next to the finished Doctor one.

And yes, this absolutely means I have to do Rory next.  And when I’m done with all three I think I’m going to Write one word under each of them in big, bold, blocky letters that I’ll have to make up in paint. Like “DOCTOR,” under the doctor, “COMPANION,” under Amy and “NURSE” or, “ROMAN” or, “THE ONE WHO DIES A LOT” under Rory.

Yay! My hand hurts. Here’s to me potentially finishing a series of things, in order, that are directly related!

Before I start, let me just say: Shut up. I can reblog my own drawing as many times in a day as I want to. This bitch took like 3 hours and 2 fingers.

Ooh, my internet was down for a while today so I’m really late to the talk-about-today’s-episode party, but wow, today’s episode was so g-Ood.
That Neil Gaiman has got some serious writing chops, I think he’ll make it in this field one day.
Oh shit! I just remembered: I touched hands with that guy. I touched the hands that wrote “The Doctor’s Wife”. So, I basically wrote it. You’re welcome.
Sidenote: The twitpic of this has over 1,000 views! Allons-y! I’d really love to know who (besides me) is sharing it.
